On our Tubes the valve is located at the back so that it does not bump against your body, but for SPH's with a separate air chamber there is no other option than to position the valve on ring around the hole. That is why it is important to push the valve completely into the air chamber. A securely closed valve will also prevent any unwanted air leaks that may diminish the SPH’s effectiveness.

Add Lukewarm Water to the Hole of the Valve
