We have launched 8 restocks of products in new colours/designs, 6 newly designed inflatables and 3 theme collections in just the first half of 2024. We are already well over halfway through 2024, but we still have a lot in store for you. We don’t want to give away all the surprises, but we can tell you that we have never been able to announce so many products in such a short time.
What's New on the Horizon?
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store the upcoming months:
- BIG Restock: This Friday (September 6, 2024) we will start a big restock of well-known SHOSU Amsterdam inflatables in new colors. The following products will be available again from Friday: two types of DIY SPH's, Tubes, RR900's, RR1200's, Squeezers, Bunny Rolls and the icing on the cake; inflatable Teddy Bears with SPH!
- More Animals: We are going to focus more on making big rideable inflatable animals! Later in the blog we will tell you about how we are developing our first big inflatable Dragon.
- Beach Balls: I hope you like beach balls with new prints.
- Create to Inflate: The winning ideas of the Create to Inflate contest will be available very soon! Have you thought about what kind of inflatable you would like us to make? Then you are in luck, because another round of the Create to Inflate contest is coming up.
- Inflatable doll: We pitched the idea for a luxury inflatable doll to you in 2023, and in just a few weeks we can show you the full design. The doll is a collaboration with ThirtyThreeRooms.
Bringing these new products to life is no small feat. The samples often take weeks to months to create, and each new design is rigorously tested to ensure it meets our quality standards. This is where our dedicated testing team comes in.
Testing, Testing, and More Testing
We are fortunate to work with a group of seasoned professionals from within the inflatable community. These individuals have years of experience with inflatable toys and are passionate about what they do. Their feedback is invaluable, helping us refine our products and ensure they’re ready for the spotlight.
Recently we received feedback from one of our professionals on the prototype of the new inflatable dragon. At our request, the proportions of the dragon, the amount of air chambers and the strength of the seams were examined closely. But the tester also provided extra feedback on the placement of the valves, the softness of the material and the addition of a 'mark of pride' such as a printed SHOSU emblem. With this feedback we will get to work to ensure that the right manufacturer picks it up and the dragon will be in our store by the end of the year.
